You play a game. Then there will be some options for you in that game to buy some super powers,coins etc.
But to buy that you have to pay. This money will go to developer of the app.This is called In-app purchase.
Third way:
If you want to upgrade to pro version you will have to pay. This Money also goes to the app uploader.
